Regional deputies believe that bicycle paths will reduce the number of accidents, increase safety and speed up transportation from one locality to another.
During the third plenary meeting of the fifth session of the Regional Council, deputy Roman Furman made an appeal regarding the repair of the bicycle paths from the village of Pidvynohradiv to Nove Selo and from the city of Vynogradiv to the village of Vylok in Vynogradiv district and the financing of these works.
According to the deputy, today transport problems can be effectively solved by implementation of "sustainable public transport" in conjunction with the development of alternative transport modes, including bicycles.
The deputies supported the colleague and sent the appeal to the Road Service in Transcarpathian region and the municipal institution "Agency for regional development and cross-border cooperation "Zakarpattia" of the Regional Council".
