Beware of strangers! Transcarpathian police advise parents to warn children against talking with strangers

As previously reported, the police recorded four incidents of strangers trying to kidnap children.   There are even more unconfirmed facts. While the police is establishing whether there are pedophiles in Transcarpathia, it is better to take care of the safety of your children. Thus, the Department of Communication of Transcarpathian regional police informs the following.

Bodies of juvenile prevention of the Police Office in Transcarpathian region ask parents to explain their children basic safety rules 

The police advises parents to establish clear rules of conduct with strangers for children. They need to explain that they can talk only with people who were introduced to them by their father or mother.

It is necessary to explain children that they can talk to strangers only when there is mom, dad, older sister, brother, or someone from the family nearby.

Explaining the rules of conduct, parents should also stress that children can never go with people they do not know and especially get in a car with them.  

Also the police appeals to parents and adults asking to immediately inform the police authorities about such cases by phone "102" and not to spread unverified information online.
