Beregovo deputies refused to discuss Sadovy’s appeal on the “waste problem”

The meeting of the 23rd session of Beregovo City Council of the VII convocation has taken place.

It began with a moment of silence in honor of Beregovo serviceman Volodymyr Brychak who was killed in the ATO area.

Before considering the agenda of the regular session, the appeal of the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy was read out. The appeal contained a request to help in disposal of solid waste at the city landfill. However, the appeal was rejected and not included in the agenda. 

Among the issues concerning the economy and social spheres in our city, the deputies supported the decision concerning the purchase of land for public purposes with a view to use it for the construction of a bypass road. 

Another issue – on approval of the request of the "Beregovo quarry" JSC for mining allotment on the outskirts of the village of Kidyosh – will be considered after further examination of environmental assessments, the Mayor of Beregovo Zoltan Babyak informed on his page on Facebook.
