Before February its going to be cold

Recently, the region was bathing in sunshine and the temperature surprised: in the middle of the winter, it was more than ten degrees above zero. However, for this week, weather forecasters predicted a cold and icy conditions.   The Head of meteorological forecasts department of Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Center Andriy Zolotaryov told the "Zamok" about the weather forecast for these days.

Weekend in Transcarpathia will be cold. On Saturday, January 26 it will be cloudy, on the roads there will be sleet, strong winds. In the lowlands during the day – 0 to -5 ° C, at night – 5 to 10 degrees below zero. In the mountains forecasters expect during the day -6 to -11 ° C, at night the thermometer may fall to -15 ° C.

On Sunday, January 27, significant precipitation is not predicted, but the cold will come to lowlands. During the day the temperature here will be from -4 to -9 ° C, at night – -7 to -12 ° C. In the highlands it will remain 6-11 ° C during the day and -15 ° C – at night.

 Monday, January 28, will also be cold, however without significant precipitation. In the lowlands it will not be any warmer: thermometer will show -2 to -7 ° C during the day and drop to -10 ° C at night. In the mountains during the day the temperature drops to -10 ° C, and during the dark time of the day – to -18 ° C.

29 and 30 January precipitation is not predicted. Yet on the eve of February, thermometer will show a plus. During the day in the lowlands they expect +2 to -3 ° C, at night the temperature will drop to 8 ° C below zero. In the mountains during the day it will be -3 to -8, at night – as cold as -15 ° C.
