Because of plastic “dams”, garbage is accumulating in the rivers of Transcarpathia

Transcarpathia is buried in garbage. After the winter, the banks of most rivers in the region are covered with piles of plastic. It is brought from the mountains by streams. The situation at the intake of Tereblya HPP is critical. Very long garbage congestions have formed at the dam. They have started to remove the plastic, but the water keeps bringing more, the TSN informs.
