Because of bad weather, traffic trucks on “Mukachevo – Rohatyn” highway is restricted

Trafiic through the four passes in the administrative boder of Transcarpathia for now is free

    Heavy snow, that began in Transcarpathia on Monday night, significantly hampered the traffic of heavy vehicles on the roads of the region. On steep ascends, truck lose traction and block other vehicles.

The situation is particularly difficult on the road of national importance "Mukachevo – Rohatyn", namely on the lacet near the village of Zaluzhzhya on the border of Mukachevo and Irshava districts and on the ascend near the village of Pistryalovo in Mukachevo district, where several trucks got stuck. To unblock the traffic, special equipment and rescuers were sent at the scene.

– We decided to restrict the traffic of trucks on the highway "Mukachevo – Rohatyn" until the weather improves – Hennadiy Moskal said. – Traffic through the four passes on the administrative border of Transcarpathia for now is free for all kinds of vehicles.
