Beauties on two wheels: in Uzhgorod the girls only cycling parade will take place

All women of Uzhgorod are invited to join nationwide Girls Cycling Parade on September 22. Dress code – a dress, heels, city bikes with baskets and flowers, good hair and mood. 

"This time we will show how you can look feminine, stylish and elegant riding a bycicle. Also you should introduce something in red color – a bike itself, or something of accessories or clothing," writes on event page in the Facebook network the initiator of this action in Uzhgorod Tetiana Lemak. 

Organizers informed: gathering and photographing will take place at Teatralna Square, at 15.30. And at 16.00 they start. The route is: from Teatralna Square – Pedestrian bridge – Kyiv embankment – Transport Bridge – Nezalezhnist Embankment – Narodna Square – back to  Nezalezhnist Embankment – Korzo and Teatralna Square. 

Format of the cycling parade provides stops in various places and informal communication, so you can bring in buskets cookies and tea, blanket for sitting on the grass. After the parade the participants visit Uzhgorod cafes that have bike parking equipped. "There we will taste superb Uzhgorod coffee and give houses a special "Bike Friendly" sticker on the door. Thus we will thank the owners of cafes for the care about cyclist visitors" – says Tetiana, who is involved in the compilation of the list of places friendly to cyclists. 

Also, organizers will hold a competition among the participants of the Cycling Parade for the most original image. The winner will receive a gift certificate for a professional photo shoot. Therefore they advise to show imagination. 

And one more nuance from the organizers: as it is a parade for females, men will not be able to participate in the race. However, those men who completely stick to the female dress code may be the exception …
