Be careful of frogs! Vehicular traffic to the Lake Synevyr in Transcarpathia may be banned

Tourists are looking forward to the end of quarantine restrictions to travel again. What innovations are expected in the National Park "Synevyr" in Transcarpathia?
As stated on the official website of the NNP "Synevyr", employees of the park used the period of restrictive measures to improve recreational infrastructure of the popular tourist destination. A new checkpoint was set up at the entrance to the lake, which is located 200 meters up the road from where it was before, ie on the border of the national park and the village council.
As you know, until now the section from the main road to the lake, which is more than one kilometer long, could be traveled on foot or by car. There are different opinions among tourists and other citizens about this issue: some support the ban on vehicular traffic to the lake, others are very much against it. Everyone has their arguments.
"Synevyr" National Nature Park intends to ban vehicular traffic to the Lake Synevyr on Sundays and holidays, ie during the period of the heaviest flow of tourists.
It is also intended to completely ban vehicular traffic to the lake during the frog mating season, which lasts in the first half of May.
Yuriy Babichyn, the head of the environmental education department, told Pershij.com.ua that this issue is currently being brought up for public discussion.
“Please express your opinions, which we will analyze in order to make the right decision. Your opinion is important for us for further planning of our work. We are bringing this issue up for public discussion.”
