During the last day, weather conditions in Transcarpathian region deteriorated. As a result, there were avalanches in the region and in some areas houses were flooded.
During the last day, in Transcarpathian region, avalanches were recorded on the roads in Khust, Rakhiv and Tyachiv districts. All blocked roads were cleared by rescuers, traffic is free.
Also yesterday, due to melting snow and heavy precipitation, and because of cluttered roadside ditches and drains, 15 private properties in the village of Pasika (Svalyava district) were flooded. Also 100-meter-long stretch of the highway M06 Kyiv-Chop, near the village of Holubyne, Slalyava district was flooded. By 22:20, in the village of Pasika, roadside ditches were cleared, temporary fortifications with sandbags were built, water was taken from the flooded households. As a result, the water went down by gravity.
On February 3, at 3:40, due to the formation of an ice jam on the Borzhava river, in the village of Bronka in Irshava district, 1 house and aboute 20 private households were flooded (the depth of water is about 30-50 cm). The residents of the flooded house were evacuated. Pyrotechnic team was sent to the site of ice jam formation.
