Authors of poems about Uzhgorod will gather at the poetry Parnassus (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On September 14, 2018, at 16.00, the authors, who wrote poems about Uzhgorod, will gather in the courtyard of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum for the first Uzhgorod Poetry Parnassus.

Young people and experienced authors will come to declare their love to their hometown through poetry, – the Department of Culture, Sports, Family and Youth of Uzhgorod City Council reported.

 Many poets of different times and epochs wrote about the regional center of Transcarpathia. Vasyl Granzha-Donsky, Yuri Borshosh-Kumyatsky, Zoreslav dedicated their works to it. Each generation of poets contributed to the creation of a magnificent, unique song about Uzhhorod.  Modern-day poets also continue it with their inspirational art.
