One must attend "Sziget"! Especially because it is its twentieth anniversary! And not for good memories, but because it offers a lot of programs.
20 years in a row in the Hungarian capital they allocate an island for all residents and visitors to attend an unforgettable festival. "Sziget" is deservedly regarded as one of the biggest music festivals held in the old Europe, and each artist is honored to take part in it.
This year’s music festival will be held from August 5 to 13. During these eight days on the island young people from all over Europe will party at gigs of such world stars as: Korn, Placebo, Snoop Dog, The Killers, The Tin Tings, The XX, The Stone Roses, Hurts, Ministry and many more!
Tickets, as usual, can be purchased both for a week-stay and for each day separately, with the possibility of spending a night in a tent on the island, since the organizers have divided the island into several zones.
Tickets prices start from 45 euros. This year about 300,000 visitors are expected.
