Yesterday, in the Transcarpathian Art Museum, a personal commemorative exhibition of the head of the Transcarpathian National Union of Artists of Ukraine Boris Kuzma opened. The exhibition is timed to the 55th anniversary of the author, which he celebrated in February this year. As the author himself told us, because of the large amount of work, and 5 solo exhibitions abroad held this year, he had been unable to exhibit paintings in Uzhgorod until now.
Boris Kuzma has his own technique, which he has been mastering for about ten years. It began with monotypes (kind of pictorial graphics), when the Transcarpathian artist Pavlo Bedzir was still alive. He showed Boris Kuzma this technique. The artist believes that it has great potential for development and you can always find something interesting in it.
Boris Kuzma believes that 55 is not a line when you can tell that something has been done. He think of it as just another day in the life.
About a hundred of his works, created over recent years, can be seen at the museum for two weeks.
