As Uzhgorod.in learned from its sources, Russian journalists, or rather "media-killers" are coming to the region.
"In Transcarpathian region (Beregovo and Vynogradiv areas), representatives of Russian TV are shooting rolls of the necessity of wide Hungarian autonomy in Transcarpathian region, which was recently allegedly stated by the head of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban (read what Orban actually said HERE, – Ed.)
Representatives of the Russian media attempt to take interviews from officials – representatives of authorities and local government.
Previously, Russian journalists contacted some representatives of Transcarpathian and national media to create news items, however, having received strong rejection, they have decided to prepare the necessary material themselves and, with this aim, visit Hungarian settlements.
They ask provocative questions, such as: Wouldn’t it better for Transcarpathia to become autonomous?
On 16.05.2014, they expect arrival of a journalist from the city of Moscow (Russia) Tatiana Stepova ("Russia 24" TV channel) accompanied by 2 more representatives of the Russian media," – the statement says.
