Attention, drivers: vehicular traffic in the Carpathians may be hampered

"Significant deterioration of weather conditions in the Carpathians: heavy wet snow, snowstorms, in some places ice formation, slush build-up, ice cover roads. Weather conditions can lead to disruption and sometimes blocking of vehicular traffic on the Carpathian region roads," – the statement reads.
Thus, according to the forecasts of the Ukranian Hydrometeorology Center, during December 25, in the western regions there will be heavy rains, and in the Carpathians wind gusts of 15-20 m / s, in the highlands – 25-28 m / s.
