According to the information received at the Chop border guard detachment from the border police of the Hungarian Republic, from 10.00 to 14.00 (Kyiv time) on 27.07.2017, the clearence of trucks at the crossing point Zahony on the border with Hungary will be temporarily suspended, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informs.
Such measures will be taken in connection with the traffic accident that occurred on the 33rd km of the main highway No. 4 (8 km from the village of Zahony, Hungary). During the accident, a dangerous substance spilled from a truck, therefore this section of the road will be blocked for decontamination. For the period of work performance, the traffic of trucks will be suspended, passenger cars will have to make a detour under the control of Hungarian policemen.
Given the above, the State Border Guard Service recommends truck drivers to choose other crossing points when planning trips abroad:
"Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke (Slovakia)" – round-the-clock;
