Attempt number three. How the Transcarpathian Regional Council elected the Chiarman (PHOTO)

Finally, the Transcarpathian Regional Council has the Chairman!

After two inconclusive meetings, at the third one, though not without long debates on regulations, the Transcarpathian Regional Council elected Mykhailo Rivis (Party "Bloc of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarnist") as their Chairman.

38 of 38 deputies, who participated in the voting, voted for him.

There is a total of 64 deputies in the Regional Council. 

The voting showed the majority in the Regional Council: the "Solidarnist" was supported not only by the "Vidrodzhennya", but also by the "Opposition bloc" and the "KMKS" – the Party of Hungarians of Ukraine.

The United Center and the "Batkivshchyna" did not take part in the voting.

Time and subsequent votings will show if the formed coalition will be stable or it is just a situational majority.

Recall that earlier, the "KMKS" stated that they would not join a coalition with the "Vidrodzhennya".
