At the “Way to Life” Center, Dutch specialists conducted for Transcarpathian colleagues a series of trainings on rehabilitation of special children (PHOTOS)

Recently, a group of specialists from the Netherlands, who work with special children, visited Transcarpathia – children’s psychiatrist Ineke de Brun; speech therapist, communications specialist Maggie Storm, and ergotherapist Robbie Veenstra.  This is the fourth visit of the Dutch specialists, who have chosen the Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center "Way of Life" as their base.

This time the group, along with the provision of theoretical information, focused on practical lessons, various trainings with Transcarpathian specialists. The Dutch specialists never come empty-handed, and this time they presented a specially developed program.

 The Deputy Director of the Center Iryna Roshkovich considers this joint work to be of paramount importance, since the repetition of theoretical knowledge acquired in the past is combined with practical work.

The participants of the training are psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, specialists of the Regional Center for Complex Rehabilitation "Way of Life", Human Health Faculty of UzhNU, students of the Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Education, schools for deaf people, etc. In short, all those people, who work with children with special needs.
