At the Regional State Administration they talked about emergencies in summer and autumn

The meeting of the regional operational center to coordinate measure on the prevention and elimination of emergency situations in the summer and autumn of 2013 was held under the chairmanship of the acting head of the RSA Igor Svyshcho.
         According to the Transcarpathian Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology, in the near future no significant drop in temperature is expected. To date, on the 70% of the region there is the extraordinary level of fire hazard due to weather conditions.
         Since the beginning of 2013, 9 forest fires occurred in the region. To eliminate emergencies, should they arise, the Regional Forestry and Hunting Department are ready to engage approximately 3,500 employees, 419 vehicles. 
         At the meeting the operational center, among other things, it was decided to tighten control over the mass rest places in forests, to conduct joint inspection raids for compliance with fire safety requirements, to constantly inform the public on the necessity to follow fire safety measures.
