At the extraordinary session of the Uzhgorod City Council, deputies will be deciding how to support the medical industry in the fight against COVID-19

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv announced the convening of an extraordinary session on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

At the session, they will consider the issue of supporting the medical industry of Uzhgorod in the fight against coronavirus. It is planned to allocate another 5 million hryvnias.
Andriyiv noted that he intends to submit a proposal to exempt entrepreneurs of groups 1 and 2 of the simplified taxation system from paying the single tax and other payments to the local budget in December.

– We must support small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, we are preparing an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a request to exempt this category of entrepreneurs from paying the single social contribution, – the Uzhgorod mayor wrote.
