At the checkpoint “Tisa”, a queue of about 200 cars has formed

Due to the significant increase in the number of people traveling to Hungary and other European countries, there is currently a significant accumulation of vehicles in front of the checkpoint "Tisa". This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – Western Border.

Outside the checkpoint, more than 100 passenger cars, as well as 80 trucks are waiting for clearence.

In order to accelerate the operations, the border guards engaged additional personnel and held a working meeting with the Hungarian party.A separate lane was allocated for tourist buses and minibuses.

In view of this, border guards are asking travelers to take into account the current situation and, if possible, to choose other border crossing points.
