On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the Transcarpathian regional center of social and labor rehabilitation and professional orientation "Choice", the charity event "World without borders" took place in Uzhgorod.
The art exhibition was opened in the regional museum of folk architecture and life. About fifty authors from Uzhgorod and Irshava districts presented their works. Overall in the region, the "Choice" has up to 5,000 members. Accrording to the director of the center Vasylyna Marko, many of them are fond of art, so next year, on the 15th anniversary of the center, three times more artists will present their talents. Also, she hopes that the center will celebrate the next anniversary in the new building, which the local authorities promised to provide for the needs of people with disabilities.
The exhibition features many varieties of fine and decorative art. The head of the Culture Department of the Regional State Administration Yuriy Hleba said that the value of these works in some ways exceeds even masterpieces of professional artists, because in addition to creative vision they contain an incredible energy – of kindness and love, victory of spirit over difficult circumstances.
The participants of the exhibitions receved diplomas of the Department of Culture and books about Transcarpathian artists.
The exhibition will run until December 20.
