At the border with Hungary, a batch of motorcycles was detained (PHOTO)

Recently, our compatriot, returning from Hungary, tried to illegally deliver a batch of motorcycles to Ukraine.

Driving a minibus "Mercedes", the man was returning home through the checkpoint "Tisa". Upon the arrival at the border and customs control, border guards checked his papers, and then proceeded to check the vehicle and the contents of the luggage compartment. As a result of a joint inspection, border guards and customs officials removed from the "bowels" of the van eight partially dismantled motorcycles of different classes. Among the "iron horses", they found two units of HONDA, as well as a YAMAHA, a KAWASAKI, an APRILIA, a HUSQVARNA, a SUZUKI and a KTM.

As a result, all the found motorcycles were confiscated in accordance with the law. Their value is currently being established.

Also, in order to check the motorcycles’ identification numbers in the Interpol stolen vehicles lists, police officers sent an appropriate request to the Ukrainian Bureau of Interpol.
