At night, policemen caught thieves who had robbed cars in Uzhgorod

Yesterday, around 5 o’clock in the morning, Uzhgorod patrol policemen found two suspecious men on 8 Bereznya street. In the presence of the policemen, the men were visibly nervous.

During the inspection, the policemen found in the backpack of one of the men a car stereo, an iron, a wallet and receipts from a local pawnshop issued in other people’s names. The men could not explain the origin of the things, instead they were visibly nervous and gave confused explanations.

During the conversation, the policemenl found out that they had stolen the things from a VAZ on Mozhaisky street.

The policeman identified the car owner, who confirmed that the things belonged to him and wrote the statement of theft.

The men were brought to the police station to provide explanations. Investigators have taken up the case.
