The police initiated a criminal proceeding over the arson of a car "Hyundai Elantra" in Mukachevo.
About, 3.30 am. in the yard on Nedetseya street in Mukachevo, a car "Hyundai Elantra" made in 2005 caught fire
Patrol policemen noticed the fire and contained it using a fire extinguisher. The fire was completely eliminated by rescuers. The investigative team arrived at the scene.
As the law enforcement officers found out, the car belongs to a 52-year-old resident of Mukachevo district and is used by her son-in-law.
The fire damaged the interior, engine and luggage compartments, paintwork of the car.
The police launched a criminal proceeding over this incident under Art.194, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (arson). The arsonists are wanted. A number of fire and technical examinations is to be carried out.
