As soon as the summer ended, winter came. Despite the fact that for most of September, the weather in Transcarpathia was sunny, today, it was snowing on the mountain of Pip Ivan Chornohirsky, which is located on the south-eastern end of the main ridge of the Chornohora massif, on the border of Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions. This was reported to the UNN correspondent by the rescuers, who are currently working at the Chornohora mountain search and rescue station on Mount Pip Ivan.

"It is snowing now (on the Mount Pip Ivan – ed.). No people on the route (climbing or descending from the mountain – ed.)", – the rescuers said.

In addition, according to webcams, it is also snowing at the ski resort Dragobrat.
