The Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region inform that as of January 4, 2017, the maximum amount of cash payments involving natural persons shall be reduced from UAH 150 thousand to UAH 50 thousand.
The amendments made by Resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine dd. 25.11.2016 № 407 "On Amending the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dd. June 6, 2013 № 210" stipulate that the maximum amount of cash payments between a natural person and a business (entrepreneur) within one day shall be set at UAH 50 thousand, and that between a natural person and another natural person under purchase contracts subject to notarization – at UAH 50 thousand. Note that the maximum amount of cash payments between businesses (entrepreneurs) within one day remains unchanged – UAH 10 thousand.
It is also provided that natural persons have a right to make payments in any amount exceeding UAH 50 thousand by transferring money from a current account to another current account, depositing and / or transferring money on current accounts (including notary deposit) to a separate current account in local currency.
