As of 2015 entry into Russia will be closed to all foreign nationals, including CIS, writes Obozrevatel.

However, only for those who do not have a travel passport.

According to media reports, the Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed relevant authorities of the Russian Federation to study the issue of a border crossing with leaders of other CIS countries. He noted that by 2015 they plan to allow entering into Russia only for holders of travel passports.
