Art scholars from Poland presented the exhibition in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

On June 3 in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, there was the opening of the exhibition of works by graduate students and professors of the Institute of Fine Arts of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

This is one of the most advanced educational and research institutions in the field of art and design on the territory of Poland: the Institute has postgraduate studies in the field of "Visual Arts", master studies in the field of "Art Education" and specializations of "Picturesque Media", "New Media" "Design graphics and advertising." Also, the institution trains bachelors in the field of "Design" on two specializations: "Visual Communication" and "Product Design".

The exhibition entitled "Synergy" is a joint creation of 23 visual art scholars. The selection presents works in various genres and techniques: ceramics, painting, drawing and photography. "The works are not similar in style and subject matter, on the contrary, they as if evidence the age-old debate between tradition and modernity, between the material and ideological worlds, which eventually complement and define each other. That is why the exhibition was called "Synergy" – the curator of the exhibition, a graduate student of the Institute Lucyna Gozdek explains.

The exhibition was recently presented at the gallery of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Residents and visitors of Uzhhorod have the opportunity to see the exhibition until June 14. After that, the Polish artists will visit Vinnytsia.
