Argentine passions in Uzhgorod

On March 12, at 7:00 pm, the concert of Argentinean tango will take place in the ILKO Gallery Art Center. Teachers and students of the Uzhgorod Musical College will perform famous works by an Argentinean musician and brilliant composer of the twentieth century Astor Piazzolla, whose musical masterpieces redefined traditional tango. Through his work, the composer raised the musical genre to a new professional level and gained worldwide recognition for the dance.
The aim of the project is to introduce Uzhgorodians and guests of the city to the style, which was invented by the composer and is known as Tango Nuevo, where the tango rhythms are harmoniously interwoven with elements of jazz and classical music. Guests of the concert are in for a lot of surprises, which will become an integral part of the romantic, spring evening. Because the music of Astor Piazzolla will be performed by a variety of instruments.
