Are the Pogorelovs now in Batkiwschyna?

In Uzhgorod, the presidentail campaign of Yulia Tymoshenko will be managed by Viktor and Andriy Pogorelovs, while the former chief administrator of Uzhgorod executive committee Daniella Gevorkyan will become the "face"of this campaign.

This truly sensational rumor was recently spread among residents of Uzhgorod. According to this version there were negotiations about cooperation in Kyiv headquaters of presidential candidate.

Recall that Andriy Pogorelov is not an alien for the Batkivschyna Party. He used to be a member of this political force but we do not know if he ever left it when he ran the elections to the city council under the banners of Eco+25. In any case he could still have some associations with the Batkivschyna.

April 25, local UDAR member Anrdiy Ryba hinted on Pogorelov’s relation to the Batkivschyna. He wrote in his Facebook account: "The top mixture of the day: Pogorelov and Batkivschyna…"

However, he did not mention the source of the information and probably had also taken it from rumors.

Local Batkivschyna Party members reject this information, but confirm that Anriy Pogorelov was really trying to find political asylum in the Batkivschyna. "But we did everything possible this could never happen," – commented one of the party members to Uzhgorod.in.

Thus, the campaign of Yulia Tymoshenko in Uzhgorod will be under control of Anton Livrintz, an old member of the Batkivschyna.
