Are activities of the “Maramorosh” LLC legal? The prosecutors are checking

The Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region initiated the check on the legality of the activity of "Maramorosh" LLC in Rakhiv district.

The community of the village of Kosivska Polyana in Rakhiv district appealed to the prosecutor about the illegal, in their opinion, mining near the village. "Therefore, the regional prosecutor’s office organized an inspection of the legality of the company’s activity and sent appropriate letters to the State environmental inspectorate in Transcarpathian region, State agricultural inspectorate in Transcarpathian region, and other relevant authorities" – the Deputy Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region Vitaly Roman said.
"They, according to their powers, will perform the checks, and in case of violation there will be the adequate response. After this inspections, all materials will be sent to the regional prosecutor’s office for making a decision." Source: Press office of the Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region.
