Kristina Arkhi told about a new kind of fraud. Here is what the statement reads:
"Today I got a phone call saying that they had found the dog and would give it back for a reward of 1000 UAH. I agreed, they appointed the meeting near the Vopak. I came to the Vopak, they called me and said to go to the payment terminal and transfer 1000 UAH and then they would give me the dog. I refused to make the payment and asked to show me the dog first. He replied that my dog had been kidnapped, he knew who did it and would give me all the information. I refused to make any payment until I see the dog. He replied that if I do not want to pay, he would sell the dog for 1000 UAH".
In the comments, people say that it is not an isolated case and they had very similar experiences. You can see the post HERE
