Yesterday active defenders of the park obtained a number of documents concerning the 0.05 hectares land plot at Dostoevsky st., 2 in Uzhgorod – part of the "rebellious" park.
"So, I present to you a photocopy of the sales contract number 55 dd. March 25, 2005 between Uzhgorod City Council and PE Volodymyr Halynsky which was concluded as a result of an auction conducted by the decision of the city council session of the IV convocation dd. 30.09.04 № 394 and by the order of the mayor of the number 34 dd. 17.02.05 – community activist Vitaliy Gregor wrote.
Thus, the subject of the contract is commercial land for a commercial and residential complex.
Thus, Mr. Volodymyr Halynsky, bought the lot not on a "wasteland with bushes," as he has been claiming from the beginning. That is, he has been deliberately misleading everyone – residents, deputies, community activists, and representatives of NGOs and political parties.
Thus, I believe that this gentleman has lost his chance to receive land elsewhere in return for the said lot, and all the expenses for the production of questionable in terms of the law documents, shall be deemed already offset by the moral damage inflicted on residents of houses at Dostoevsky st., 2 – Hodynka st., 8" – human rights activist Vitaliy Gregor sums up.
