Another playground with artificial turf was opened today in Uzhgorod

It was built in the territory of the school No. 12, but in fact 1800 students of two Uzhgorod schools will be able to play there: 1020 children from the secondary school No. 12 and 780 students from the secondary school No. 15, because these schools are close to each other. A modern artificial turf playground will allow them to become more active in sports and help young athletes to grow professionally.
The event was attended by Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv, his deputy, member of the city council Vasyl Homonay, the secretary of Uzhgorod city council Andriana Sushko, the head of the city department of education Natalia Mukhomedyanova, member of the Transcarpathian regional council Andriy Andriyiv, member of Uzhgorod city council Yevheniy Prozor, the first deputy chairman of the Transcarpathian Football Federation, member of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association Myroslav Shcherbey, the principals of the secondary school No. 12 Yarina Kharina and the secondary school No. 15 Volodymyr Polishchuk.
By the way, in recent years such playgrounds have been arranged in Uzhgorod schools No. 5, 8, 19, educational complex "Harmonia", the Classical Gymnasium, and are now being installed in the secondary school No. 2 and secondary school No. 6.
After the ribbon cutting, the athletes proceeded to test the artificial turf of the playground. In particular, there were demonstrations of combat hopak, rhythmic gymnastics, football, training with nunchaks, etc., Uzhgorod City Council reported.
