The Russian-Ukrainian war has brought grief to Transcarpathia again.
The sad news was reported by a volunteer Mykhailo Roman from the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers – Vynogradiv. "Friends! Another terrible news from the front. In the area of the ATO, an enemy bullet killed our fellow Transcarpathian, a soldier of the 25th Brigade, Victor Afanasiev, resident of the village of Vylok in Vynogradiv district. Approximately tomorrow, the body of the Hero will be delivered to his native land."

They plan to meet the fallen soldier with an escort of honor and ask everyone to join. The exact place of gathering will be announced later.
