Another illegal migrants – and again from the Caucasus region

Over the weekend, border guards of the Western Regional Department found and detained several groups of illegal migrants from the Caucasus region.

Thus, during implementation of the measures to combat trafficking of illegal migrants in the area of ​​"Velyky Berezny" of the Chop detachment, at 500 m away from the state border, border guards detained four unknown persons without documents who said that they were Georgian citizens (males).

Another three persons of Caucasian nationality were detained by border guards of the "Hertza" unit of the Chernivtsi detachment using the night vision device.   None of them had any documents. The detainees were taken to the border units for filtration measures and preparation of procedural documents under Part 2 of Article 204, 202 of the Administrative Law ("Illegal crossing or attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine" and "Violation of the border regime").
