The officials demanded that amount of bribe for assistance in the lease of the premises that is being used by the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.
Currently, the official was arrested under Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, a criminal proceeding under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been initiated, priority investigation activities are being carried out.
To note: the article provides for punishment by imprisonment of five to ten years, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years with confiscation of property.
