Another “diver” and 13 boxes of tobacco products were detained in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

   Last night, while taking enhanced measures to counter offenses on the state border, border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment, during a patrol in the border area in Tyachiv district, near the river Tisa, detected a violator with 5 packages of tobacco products.

Upon seeing the border guards, the unknown man immediately left the cigarettes and fled. However, thanks to prompt exchange of information with interacting agencies and coordinated actions by officers of the State Border Guard Service and the National Police, the man in a diving suit was detained. The found tobacco products and the "diver" were delivered to the Department of Border Guard Service "Tyachiv" for the preparation of administrative and procedural documents under Part 1. Art. 204-1 of the CAO were drawn up against him.  The offender will be judged in court.  

      In another two cases, cigarettes were found last night by border guards of the same unit near the border, in the vicinity of the village of Dilove. Initially, border guards found a cache with two packages of cigarettes, then in the course of search operations they found another 6 boxes of tobacco products.
