In the spare wheel, under the front door lining and the backseat of the car, officers of the Transcarpathian customs office found 930 packs of cigarettes. The customs rules violation was recorded yesterday, November 19, at the customs post "Dyakove."
In order to find the hidden tobacco products, the vehicle was sent to the box for in-depth inspection. Heading to the Romania, the citizen chose the "green corridor" for customs control. According to the customs legislation, the choice of the "green corridor" is deemed a statement of a citizen that the goods being moved by them across the customs border of Ukraine are not subject to a written declaration, tax customs payments, do not fall under statutory prohibitions and / or restrictions on import to or export out of the customs territory of Ukraine and indicates the facts of legal significance.
Thus, the citizen of Ukraine committed actions aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control through the use of means impeding the detection of such goods.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Based on Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, under the report on violation of customs rules, the goods being the direct objects of the violation of customs regulations and the vehicle with specially manufactured cache used to conceal the cigarettes were seized.
