Another cigarette smuggler was caught at the border (PHOTOS)

A Hungarian citizen who was returning home through the checkpoint "Tisa" was forced to leave in Ukraine the content of a… gas cylinder.

The man followed to Hungary through the simplified control lane "green corridor" and was carrying the above mentioned subject in the car "Volkswagen". In turn, experienced border guards decided to check the contents of the container together with representatives of the Customs office.

The border guards immediately realized that there was no gas inside, and after its depressurization the inspectors found inside the tobacco products – 200 packs of cigarettes L&M and NAVIGATOR.

Given that in this case, structural cavities of the vehicle were not used for the illicit trafficking of cigarettes, the man was able to continue his journey by car, but the cylinder and the cigarettes were seized. It should be noted that during 2013, on the initiative of border guards and in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, they have seized 34 vehicles being used to carry out illegal activities – the press service of the Chop border guard detachment reported
