Another car fraud was revealed by Chop border guards (PHOTOS)

Last weekend, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", an attempt of illegal import of a car into Ukraine was prevented.

A citizen of Ukraine, driving a car SKODA OCTAVIA (made in 2005) with foreign license plates, arrived at the checkpoint from Slovakia. During the border and customs control procedure, border guards took notice of a number of factors that encouraged them to carry out a full identification of the vehicle, together with representatives of the Customs office. During the scrutiny, the inspectors found out that the vehicle VIN-code had been replaced by application of another number.

The car was confiscated, its value is currently being established.
