Another 200 apartments of low-income Uzhgorod residents will be equipped with individual heating

The regional administration propose to deliver three boilers costing nearly 750,000 UAH from the bankrupt company "Zakarpatteplokomunenerho" to the Department of Health Care of the RSA, Regional Broadcasting Company "Tisa-1" and Vynogradiv school. To do this they have developed the program for optimization of heating in settlements of the region in 2013. Boilers with a capacity of 750 kilowatts each are proposed to be delivered for free. In addition, a half million hryvnias is planned to be allocated for the equipment of 200 apartments of low-income Uzhgorod residents with electric heating.

Currently the utilities "Mukachivteplo", "Uzh-teplo", "Uzh-energy" and "Vynogradivteplokomunenerho", which worked on the gas and provided district heating, are in the process of liquidation. Only in Rakhiv, heating is supplied centrally – by the "Rakhivteplo" company. 

Overall, as of April 1, there are 1,152 boiler rooms in the region, 17 of them are owned by local councils, 181 – by the Ministry of Health, 877 – by the Ministry of Education, 21 – by the Ministry of Social Work, 55 – by the Ministry of Culture, 1 – by the Ministry of Justice.
