Transcarpathians will be able to see the creative legacy of Andy Warhol, stored in museums of Slovakia. In May next year, the exhibition will be presented in Mukachevo castle Palanok. Such an agreement was reached at the meeting of the Slovak delegation with the Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Labosh, informs Zakarpattya online.
Andy Warhol was born in the U.S. but his parents were immigrants from the Slovak villlage of Mykovo, and of Rusyn origin. Warhol’s works are appreciated not only at home but around the world. He is considered one of the founders of Pop Art.
