Today, members of Uzhgorod city council with 27 votes "for" supported the appointment of Igor Fartushok as the Deputy Mayor. Igor Fartushok told about himself, his professional activities, which areas he was going to work on at the municipality.
Recall that in late March the issue of the appointment of a new deputy was removed from the agenda of the session. Later the journalists showed a document that proves that Igor Fartushok has been working as the Acting Deputy Mayor since March 13.
The deputies also considered privatization issues. However, as stated on the official page of the City Council on Facebook, most draft decisions concerning amendments to the privatization program were not supported by the deputies of Uzhgorod City Council at today’s plenary session. They voted for the inclusion of only two sites to the privatization program – the buildings at Peremoha st., 23a and on Ruska st., 38, that will be subject to privatization through foreclosure.
Also, they added to the agenda the issue of taking the dormitory at Svoboda Avenue, 26 to the balance sheet of the city.
