In Vynogradiv district, Roman Sovlych became the sixth victim of the ATO

Fellow villagers from Fanchykovo standing on their knees, holding memorial lamps in shaking hands, in mournful twilight met their hero – mobilized Roman, who was an artillerist of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade.

 The funeral was attended by his mother, who had come from Argentina, where she works, and his girlfriend Timeya, who will never be the bride in a white veil on their wedding, which was scheduled for May. The whole village came to escort the young man to the resting place, and boys, according to the tradition, attached white boutonnieres to their jackets.  Among the soldiers, there was his best friend – Séby Dyevri. The boys not only grew up together and were friends, but they also joined the army together and were fighting side-by-side in the ATO in Debaltseve.     

His colleagues were carrying the coffin for almost three kilometers from home to the Greek Catholic church, where the funeral of the Hero took place. He had a callsign Owl, was a sincere and wise man.In November, the young man would turn 22 years old.
