The State Protection Service station received the signal about the triggered panic button in one of Uzhgorod hypermarkets. In three minutes, the police unit of the State Protection Service arrived at the scene.
Law enforcement officers were called by a clerk of the hypermarket. He reported about a young man who was trying to take out goods without paying for them. The suspect was immediately arrested. State Protection Service officers called the investigative team of Uzhgorod city police.
As it turned out, a 25-year-old Yuri, student of one of Uzhgorod schools, decided to steal sweets and expensive headphones.
Physical evidence have been seized. The report was drawn up against the offender. The investigation is being conducted.
