An Uzhgorod resident was sentenced to two years for pimping

At the hearing, with participation of a representative of Uzhgorod prosecution, it was established that a 22-year-old female resident of Uzhgorod in one of the cafes in the city had introduced her 26-year-old girlfriend to a 21-year-old man. 

In the court, the prosecutor proved that the woman was acting intentionally in order to gain profit, because she had received remuneration for the services from the man.Therefore, her actions were qualified as trading in prostitution for profit (Part 2 of Art. 302 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Her guilt was fully proved and she was sentenced to two years imprisonment with deferred service of the sentence – the press service of the Prosecutor of Uzhgorod reported.
