An international conference on physical and ergotherapy will be held in Uzhgorod

The event is being organized by Uzhgorod National University, SE "Karpaty" Clinical Sanatorium, and the Charitable Organization "Medical Aid Committee in Transcarpathia". 
The topics of the conference will cover such issues as physical therapy, ergotherapy in health care, the formation of healthy lifestyles by means of physical education and sports, the support of quality training in the field of special education and health-saving and health-forming technologies in the public health care system. 
Practitioners from abroad, including specialists from Switzerland will take part in the conference along with Ukrainian experts. Thus, special educator, Master of Arts in Educational Sciences, Hendrika Graff de Ruiter will tell about the prerequisites for successful inclusion in schools, and speech therapist, MAS Cranio Facial Kinetic Science (MCFKSc) Dr. Susanne Codoni will tell about the main aspects of speech development in children with mental disorders. The Swiss experts represent the Parasolka Association, which has long-standing close links with Transcarpathia in the development and implementation of health and education services for people with disabilities.     
The grand opening of the First Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Approaches to the Formation of Professional Competences of Specialists in Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy" will be held on October 17 at 09.30 in the Hotel "Emigrant" (the city of Uzhgorod, Mytna st. 31). The final meeting of the conference is scheduled for October 18 at 12.00 at the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of UzhNU (the city of Uzhgorod, I.
