An illegal migrant trafficker was arrested in Transcarpathia

The border guards and the police detained an illegal migrant trafficker who was hiding from law enforcement. The man was taken into custody.

Recall that in September this year, the border guards of the Western Regional Directorate together with Perechyn police, on the outskirts of the city of Perechyn, detained two citizens of Algeria and two Syrian citizens. Along with the group of illegals, the operatives also detained a person who was transporting the foreigners to the border. In the course of special measures, the organizer of the illegal activity was identified. A criminal proceeding over that incident was initiated under Part 2 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Illegal Transportation of Persons across the State Border of Ukraine".

 At present, measures are being taken to establish all circumstances and identify the persons involved in this offense, – the press service of the Chop border guard informs.
