An explosion of gas and air mixture occurred in Perechyn

On January 2 at 09:07, rescuers received a report about an explosion of gas and air mixture with subsequent fire in an outbuilding on Pershotravneva street in Perechyn.
To eliminate the fire, firefighters of the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit of Perechyn were sent at the scene. A total of two equipment units and 10 personnel were employed.
At 09:30, the fire over the area of ​​about 30 sq.m. was contained, and at 10:00 it was completely eliminated. Firefighters also prevented the spread of the fire to the owners’ house and other outbuildings.
During the fire, a 27-year-old grandson of the owner suffered I-III degree thermal burns of the head, neck and back, 30% of the body area. He was hospitalized at the burn department of the regional clinical hospital.
The circumstances of this case and the pecuniary damage caused are being established by law enforcement agencies. The fire destroyed the outbuilding and the property inside.
